Advance Waltzing

A deep dive into waltz, accompanied by both live piano and recorded music. A different view on waltzes will be presented. Together we will attempt to dissect waltzes based on musicality and flow. Introducing the differences between symmetric and asymmetric waltzes and covering irregularity in a way beyond what is common in balfolk. Transitioning between waltzes of different time signatures we walk a musical path together. A quick stop will be made at waltz signatures like 10, 17 and 32 as well as combining any waltz with mazurka.
